MOOMU

MOOMU originated from the traditional building blocks.

Having owned a toy company for many years, we were so privileged to have almost any kind of toy for our children. When my own daughter was one year old, I wanted to gift her a set of building blocks that we could play together or that she could play on her own.
I soon realised what the market offered were only wooden or plastic material building blocks at the time. We rigorously travelled to various toy shows, seeking out the possibility of having different materials for blocks. Alas, after lots of research, we were finally happy and relieved to find this special and unique, vanilla-scented macaroon soft building blocks.
I certainly hope you are as excited as we are.

My daughter is now four. MOOMU soft building blocks are still the toys that cover our lounge, accompanying her and our family time. We could use Moomu to tell stories, build a whole world of her dreams, and also it’s the perfect gift to bring for any playdate with other kids.

Qian Qian’s tiger paw pancakes

When we encountered Moomu, we saw the potential for a unique character IP - from the original Taiwanese Children’s book - Oli's Tiger-paw pancakes.

Written from the author’s own heart and experiences of a struggling childhood. He was often changing schools due to the demands of his parent’s work, which meant he had to re-adjust to new environments all the time. As a result he often felt like he needed to put on a facade to adapt quickly, and pretend to be someone else. It led to a lack of self-confidence and insecurities about himself. When he became a father, he hoped to remind himself and his new born baby about the journeys he went through and how to overcome it. Hence, came the book  "Oli's Tiger-paw pancakes".
